Prepress automation for commercial printing
Multi-page work multiplies every problem by the page count. Prepta checks each page against the profile, normalises geometry across the document, resolves colour and font problems in one pass, and reports per page rather than as one verdict.

What goes wrong
Mixed colour spaces in one document
RGB images on some pages, CMYK on others, spot colours defined twice under different names.
Fonts not embedded
A single unembedded font on page 14 stops the whole job.
Trim varying between pages
Pages assembled from different sources, each with its own page box.
Overprint set by accident
White objects set to overprint disappear on press.
What Prepta does
Colour normalised across the document
One conversion pass, duplicate spot definitions consolidated, results reported per page.
Page geometry made consistent
Trim and bleed boxes aligned across all pages, with exceptions listed.
Font problems identified precisely
The page, the object and the missing font named, so the fix is one message to the customer.
Risky overprint settings raised
Overprint on light or white objects flagged for confirmation rather than silently changed.
Common questions — commercial print
How does Prepta handle multi-page commercial PDFs?
Each page is checked against the profile. Geometry, colour and font problems are reported per page so one bad spread does not hide in a bulk pass.
Will Prepta embed missing fonts?
Prepta identifies the page, object and font name precisely so you can request the correct file — it does not substitute fonts silently.
