How do I check DPI in a PDF?
Upload the PDF to this free resolution check. We evaluate placed images against the production profile’s minimum PPI and list findings in the Prepta Score report.
What DPI do I need for print?
It depends on viewing distance and process. Offset and fine digital often want ~300 PPI at final size; large format is lower. The free public profile uses a practical floor (150 PPI). Shops set their own minima in Prepta.
Does this check DPI at my final output size?
The free check reports placed-image resolution against the public profile. Scaling to a specific job size (banner vs business card) is part of full Prepta with your product dimensions.
Will this upsample my images?
No. The free tool only diagnoses. Prepta can apply repair policies (including optional upscaling providers) when you configure them for a profile.
